What Happens When You First Call a Factoring Company?

You think working with an invoice factoring company might be a good fit for your company. Now what? The first and easiest step is through a short 10 to 15 minute introductory phone call with Universal Funding. The purpose of this call is twofold. First, it gives us a better understanding of how your business operates and allows our specialists to assess if our factoring services are a good fit for your company. Secondly, we’ll discuss our factoring rates, usually in the 0.5% to 2% range, by asking a few questions about your industry, monthly revenue, payment processing, and clients.

By the end of the call, your specialist will know if our services are a good fit for your business. If it’s a good fit, we’ll email you our one-page application.

If you require financing that is outside the scope of our services then your specialist will transfer you to our referral manager, who can assist you in connecting with another financing company that may better suit your needs. We have partnerships with many other lenders and financing companies that provide alternate services and we would be happy to provide a recommendation and introduction if we determine they would be a better fit for your funding needs.
