I work closely with all aspects of Universal, along with a significant portion of our clientele. I have experience working on tax issues with the IRS and multiple areas of finance (capital budgeting, economic planning and evaluation) that allow me to understand the specific needs of our clients that are affected by specific industries and geographic regions.

Background



As a veteran of the U.S. Navy (seven years) I am proud that I served my country and at the same time I'm proud that afterwards I finished my undergraduate degree and then went on to law school (GO ZAGS!).

Community Involvement



I'm actively involved in our community serving as a Board Member for North East Youth Center, a local non-profit organization providing before and after school activities for children in the community. I also contribute to our community by volunteering for 2nd Harvest Food Bank and sponsoring/participating in the Transitions golf tournament to benefit homeless women and children.

Personal



I enjoy the outdoors and can be found out on the golf course, on the ski slopes or out on the waterways kayaking. I am also a novice wine connoisseur and enjoy regional wine festivals and learning about the intricacies of wine. Hopefully, in the not-so-distant future, I'll try my hand at making and bottling my own wine. As an alumnus, I'm an avid follower and supporter of all of the Gonzaga sports teams. I also work on my decade(s) long project of writing on the history and philosophy of economic thought.
